Length

To measure the length of your t-shirt, put it on a flat surface. Place the end of the tape measure at the highest point of the shoulder near the collar, which is usually where the shoulder seam joins the collar. Pull the other end of the tape measure straight down to the bottom edge of the garment. Do not hold the item with your hands stretching it - it should lie flat. Make sure that the fabric is spread out so that the measurement is as accurate as possible.

If the length of the t-shirt from our table is a bit longer than expected, it's not a problem - such a t-shirt will better cover the waist and provide additional comfort in cooler weather.

Chest

To measure the chest width on a t-shirt, lay it out on a flat surface. First, find the seams that connect the front and back of the t-shirt at the armpits, which is usually the widest part of the t-shirt. Place a tape measure horizontally and measure the distance between these seams. If the width of the t-shirt from our chart is slightly larger than expected, this will only give the item a loose fit, which can increase comfort. Avoid choosing a size that's too small – it's crucial!
